Shipka 6, Sofia – Bögl-Gierer Architekten

The conversion of the building into a National Exhibition Centre is achieved by a new facade with abstract vertical structure. Its most distinguished feature is the material – a golden coloured anodized aluminum – which creates an appealing new presence of the Union of Bulgarian Artists headquarters. The competition entry is included in this edition, as ADA’s team partners BG Architekten in the development of their concept and is fully responsible for the architectural presentation.
